Fit Church USA Ministry Vision and Impact Strategy

More than 150 ministry leaders are already equipped. In 2027, help us multiply that into a global health ministry movement. Your partnership funds the events, people, and resources that help churches care for the whole person: body, mind, and spirit.

"Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body."

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (ESV)

Our Mission

To fill the earth with churches that are actively engaged in reducing the level of sickness in our world as they strive to make disciples.

Our Vision

A worldwide network of churches willing and equipped to walk with people in their pursuit of wholeness, where people are set free through the preaching of God's Word, the ministry of health and fitness, and connection with others who share their desire for wholeness.

Mission Statement

FIT Church USA aims to show the love of Jesus through health and fitness by offering a variety of services that educate and empower people holistically, both in a community setting and on an individual basis.

The Need

6 out of 10

adults suffer from at least one chronic illness

4 out of 10

suffer from two or more

Many people in our country are suffering from the effects of poor health habits. 6 out of 10 adults suffer from at least one chronic illness, and 4 out of 10 suffer from 2 or more. While much is being done in the world to help these people, almost none of these solutions point these people to the root of their behaviors. It is rare that a church offers something to help their members and those in their community who are struggling with their health and lifestyle, so most do not find support for this in the church. This is a missed opportunity, both for the churches that want to serve their communities and for the people who need support but can't seem to find it.

While Jesus was on earth, he did one thing more than anything else that signified his divinity. Heal people. He met people where they were and healed their illnesses. This served as a sign to them, and all they said was that this was truly the Christ. Many years later, the church developed sick homes, which turned into what we know today as hospitals, and this became the sign that Jesus' love was still on the earth through his disciples. Centuries later, the church has seemingly let the concept of healing be drawn up to prayer and hospital visits rather than service in real time. Preventative care mixed with the teaching of biblical principles to help people heal and build new and better habits rooted in truth.

"Why has the secular world been solely responsible for helping people regain and maintain their health? Of course, the world has gladly taken on the mission because it is a multi-billion dollar industry. The problem is that God is often then excluded from the equation. This makes little sense because God is the creator of life. If anyone knows how the human body is best preserved, it is he. In a country where the leading cause of death is due to chronic illnesses, many of which are linked to poor health habits, why is there such a deafening tone of indifference from God's children?"

— Matthew Gay, from the book "Fit Church"

If we don't get into the game, this problem, which is rooted in the fall of man, will never experience the solution rooted in the work of Christ. Faith and fitness together create an opportunity for transformation from the inside out in a way that benefits that person now and in eternity. FIT Church USA aims to change the current narrative and bridge this gap globally.

FIT Church United community

Tax Exempt and Supporter Funded

FIT Church USA is a 501 (c)(3) Non-Profit organization. Our tax-exempt status and support team enable us to serve churches, individuals, and communities free of charge. This allows us to focus the majority of our time, energy, and resources on serving rather than on marketing and sales. This removes the barrier for those who are in financial need or hardship to receive our help. This also makes it far easier to expand the ministry and reach more lives exponentially with the love of Jesus. Our ministry partners are loved, valued, and cared for, not only as supporters of the mission but as true teammates. They are participants in the ministry. They are souls for us to care for and pray for diligently. Fellow workers in the field of ministry to which we have been called.

Who We Serve

FIT Church USA is dedicated to empowering people of all ages, economic backgrounds, genders, ethnicities, and faiths. Our ministry is to share the love of Jesus through physically and spiritually empowering ministries that point them toward Christ and better health simultaneously.
